Art is for eternity. My creations in recyclable plastic lie on the dividing line between the synthetic and natural worlds: plastic as a permanent genre of art, and not as a disposable product. Stephan Destrooper’s request to model my animals in chocolate, creates a new, added dimension.

Before you is my oeuvre, but now in an edible form. The makes the work of art both ephemeral and timeless. Because food is timeless. To continue enjoying it, a sustainable, societal view is needed. Destrooper’s chocolate gives me an opportunity to convey my message to a wider audience, in a material that everyone loves, manufactured by a skilful and similarly-impassioned confectioner.
